This week is a huge week for gamers as the Sony State of Play is happening on June 2nd at 5 pm EST, and the weekend begins the Summer Game Fest. However, today Sony is taking extra steps in giving more accessories for gamers that utilize both quality and extra charge for your buck.
27″ Gaming Monitor with DualSense Charging Hook
I can get behind this monitor, and I am looking into a new one. Having a charging hook is a plus and convenient to hang your controller. Here are the bells and whistles!
- Fluid motion. Total control – Experience seamless gameplay for compatible games with up to 120 Hz refresh rate on PS5® consoles, and up to 240 Hz refresh rate on compatible PC and Mac® devices.
- Perfectly in sync – Maintain stable performance when the action intensifies with Variable Refresh Rate (VRR)1, which automatically adjusts your monitor’s refresh rates to match the output of the connected device.
- See brilliant detail – Enjoy faithful image reproduction from any perspective as the In-Plane Switching (IPS) display produces accurate, consistent colors across a wide viewing range, brought to life on the 27-inch Quad High Definition (QHD) screen with High Dynamic Range support.
- Bring worlds into sharper focus – Lose yourself in beautifully defined environments with the Quad High Definition (QHD) display which supports up to 2560 x 1440 resolution for compatible devices. Making it great to play up close at your desk or from a short, comfortable viewing distance.
- Effortless optimization – Initial setup is a breeze thanks to Auto HDR Tone Mapping which automatically adjusts your HDR settings for PS5® and PS5® Pro consoles, so you can enjoy a broader range of brightness and contrast when HDR is supported in your games.
- Fast response time – Stay in control during intense action as fast response times keep gameplay looking sharp by reducing blur and ghosting during quick movements.

It’s not a bad screen at all, but once again, no price to be seen. I feel like you are going to show off all these bells and whistles. You should show off how much it will cost. Then, let’s move on to the fight stick.
FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick
Been a while since I’ve seen a company make its own fight stick without using third-party companies. The FlexStrike wireless fight stick, as well as a wired connection with PS Link. It baffles me that they could not get it to work with a Bluetooth connection? You will need to buy a device, which is another $24.99, but let’s check out the features.

- Ultra-low latency response – Land every strike with ultra-low latency response times via PlayStation Link™ wireless or wired USB-C® connections.
- Built-in rechargeable battery – Be prepared to throw down whenever, wherever with a built-in rechargeable battery.
- Sling Carry Case – From fight nights with friends to the drama and spectacle of major tournaments, take the fight with you in a sleek, sturdy carrying case that includes a lever gap to keep your digital stick safe during transport.
- Adjustable controls with DualSense® Inputs – The FlexStrike wireless fight stick features DualSense controller buttons*, plus a touchpad. It also allows users to customize certain functions, such as switching directional inputs with the lever mode switch or locking the layout to prevent accidental inputs during a match using the lock button.
Final Assessment:
Just going to wait for the prices to drop, the monitor I definitely have on my radar. As for the fight stick, to each is their own. Most of you have universal fight sticks, so it depends on whether you want a dedicated one for a particular system. We should see a price drop hopefully soon, but let me know your thoughts on these two new devices. Also, check back for our stream of Summer Game Fest this weekend. – Beast Out –
