The GameSir G8+ was an interesting buy because I just wanted something to go with my Android, where I didn’t have to bring my Xbox or PS5 controller. The search began, and this popped up as highly recommended, so here are my thoughts. It will be an abridged rundown of my thoughts, as the video below shares my thoughts.
The Good:

It’s all about comfort and responsive controls. The biggest pro is that it is fully Bluetooth, with no connection through the USB-C port. Until you need to charge it, that is. So far, utilizing the Xbox Cloud Gaming, PPSSPP, Redream, and finally adding the Dolphin Gamecube/Wii emulator. With some fine configuration, it turned out great. The GameSir 8+ also has a screenshot button, which is convenient since I need to add posts from mobile games as well. The next thing I will add is MAME, but that’s another time.
It comes with the gamepad itself, which extends far enough that almost any phone or tablet can fit nicely. Added comfort and changeable analog sticks for a customizable experience. Of course, a USB-Charger, but out of the box it had an 80 percent charge. I would recommend downloading the GameSir app to see the battery percentage, which is the only wya to know.
The Bad:

The only downside is that PS Remote Play does not work with the gamepad. Granted this is a device suited for the Xbox Cloud Gaming, and other Android games or apps. Once again, Sony has a weird hold on the app, which should not have such restrictions. I only mention this because the PlayStation Now PC app doesn’t support the PS5 controller, but I can use an Xbox Series X or previous-gen Xbox controllers on the app. However, one app that doesn’t work is not that big of a deal.
Final Thoughts:
The GameSir G8+ gamepad is top-notch, which is on sale right now for $65.99 from $79.99. Yes, I am affiliated with Amazon, and if you want to purchase, please consider clicking here. It does the job and is convenient, as I converted my second phone, which has no network, into a gaming device. Now, I am going to get my Jet Grind Radio on through the Redream app, and I hope you all enjoyed this review. Please check back as we shall be covering the Summer Game Fest and more. – Beast Out –
