Ingrid Rips through Dimensions in Street Fighter 6

Yes, the final character for Season 3 in Street Fighter 6 has arrived, and Ingrid is just delightful with a sprinkle of spice. Well, not a sprinkle at all, she can be scary! So, I did a bit of the tutorial, did some story, and I have to say. Ingrid is fun in a bun. Let’s get into it!

Cosmic Light of Street Fighter 6:

Ingrid is on this Terran vacation, battling the world warriors as the new fighter across Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC Via Steam. She was first introduced in Capcom Fighting Evolution in 2004. Ingrid quickly tore through the fabric of reality again to appear in Street Fighter™ Alpha 3 MAX in 2006. Being that she is like the Mxyzptlk of the Street Fighter world, and below you can see my gameplay of her in the story mode.

Ingrid is easy to get into, and with the right time and practice, you can be elite. She is great with both offense and defense, where her companion can divert attacks, both projectiles and even the opponent. Sucking them in like a vacuum and spitting them back out! Also feel like combos with her would not be to tasking either. I can’t wait to take her into the lab to go full ham with her mechanics. Chaining her abilities can be simple, and she does have some attacks that you can hold down to time properly. As well as her buff ability with quarter circle back plus low bunch to stack her sun crest ability. So far, I’ve got it up to a 4-stack, and you can unleash a powerful attack even with your super arts.

Now, I am not the best fighter in the business, and that’s apparent in the video above. But, I enjoy the lore and characters since the first time I played back in the late 80s. It’s a good return of the character after so long.

Straight from Capcom:

There are things that I could not express fully, but Capcom did send some additional details of Ingrid that I will share.

Ingrid can be acquired with the Street Fighter 6 Year 3 Character Pass, Year 3 Ultimate Pass, or individually with Fighter Coins. She will be featured with two outfits upon release, including Outfit 1, which features Ingrid’s interdimensional apparel, and Outfit 2 inspired by her appearance in Capcom Fighting Evolution, where she donned a purple school uniform. Outfit 2 can be acquired either with Fighter Coins, maxing out your bond with her in World Tour mode, or maxing out her Acquisition Gauge in Avatar Arcade Mode.

Now that is the latest feature I also had fun with in The Avatar Arcade Mode. This is another new feature in season 3. Using your Avatar to take on masters in the arcade mode version is a great way to earn acquisitions as well. I only have 3 characters maxed out from world tour mode, but I will go back in to obtain more. It’s pretty good and brings more features to use your Avatar outside of World Tour and Battlehub.

Final Alignment has Begun:

Ingrid has always been fun, and the return is welcomed by me. Her elegance and comedic personality are fun to experience, as well as her combat sets. It’s going to be fun to learn her completely and might take her into the rankings. Also, the new sporty DriveTech wear is available for all those who obtained Season 3. Stay tuned for future streams and lab work this weekend over on my Twitch channel. – Beast Out
