Happy Hump Day, gamers. In today’s news, selected Xbox Insiders will have the chance to test out the latest update. This will give gamers more customization and shape their Xbox console experience. This is just the first wave, with more coming to other insiders as well. So, what to expect?
New Experience to Boot Up:
One thing about some of the past Xbox experiences before the Xbox One was the creative start-up. Either a green blob that forms the Xbox symbol, or the Xbox 360 silver circle with the X cut into it. There was an imagination that made the system feel alive. As most already know, the boot up comes with a new sound and animation. It will also bring out a new logo with the signature green that players are familiar with.
New Gamerscores and Tier Badges:
Players will now earn new tiered badges that reflect your lifetime Gamerscore, giving you a fresh way to showcase your journey on Xbox. These badges appear on your profile and in the Guide, making it easy to see your achievement history at a glance.
As your total Gamerscore grows, your badge evolves with you, reflecting every milestone along the way.
This reminds me of the Twitch badge evolution as you stay subscribed to a streamer. It is a good move, and I love that feature.

At first, there was some worry about what was happening over at Xbox. We got a change of leadership, and Asha at first showed some red flags. However, Asha is making the right moves so far.
