A new day, with a new game announcement: Koshmar: The Last Reverie. Why the buzz? Well, if you ever were a fan of the Alice: Madness Returns game. Then Koshmar is right in the mix of a genre you can’t afford to miss. As gamers, we need those games that are bizarre but feature great mechanics and visuals that make a player go, “Daaaaaamn!” I digress, let’s get into the meat of the game.
What’s the Story?
Koshmar: The Last Reverie is a fast-paced, single-player action-adventure set in the realm of dreams and nightmares. Through the eyes of the game’s protagonist, Violet, a teenager growing up in a small town, players delve into her subconscious through her unique lucid dreaming ability. When nightmares break through her dreams and her reality, she must venture into the depths of the darkness and risk her sanity to protect those affected by the sleeping sickness.
Purple Ray Studio is cooking with this new game, and being that the story is rich. Personally, the story and the combat alone will drive my interest. So, wishlist it now on Steam and stay tuned for a possible review in the future, well, in 2027 at least. Koshmar: The Last Reverie will also release on PS5 and Xbox Series systems.
