Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis: Kuma Returns

Played Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis back in 2020, and some of my colleagues got back into it as well. It is always weird to go back into a game after half a decade, and yes, it is quite confusing. One would start over, but when you have a character so far into it from the previous game. A gamer just has to power through and relearn it all over again. This will be quick and hopefully comedic.

A JPop Rave Everyday on Halpha:

When you feel like a tourist in a game after so long of not playing, especially with an MMORPG with more sidequests than one could ever experience. Everywhere you walk or interact in Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis seems to level up the character. It should be expected, because you have your main, side, daily, special event, and weekly quest. So, as you play, you will just activate a quest or finish one just by the paramimeters.

Lost in the Sauce:

There are times when you go into a game, and everything can be overwhelming. Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis can be a nightmare with all the alerts going off about a concert or a special emergency. The confusion for me would be in the transition from PSO 2 to New Genesis since my avatar is still rocking the Sonic the Hedgehog outfit. Among the other things that are in the inventory.

There will be a time when I will sit through it all to understand directly, especially when leveling up and gaining more money to unlock the potential of my gear.

Born with a Controller Final thought:

Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis is still a great game, and even though there is some confusion. Still, “WTF” is going on the whole time as I am playing. There is a simplicity I am used to at times, where the goal is to kick butt, progress through the story, and complete a sidequest. Also, this is just a filler post because a thought on the topic was comedic going in, as I am returning to PSO 2 New Genesis.

Be sure to enjoy our streams of Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis on our Twitch channel. Not going to give up on this game, and it is fun relearning what I missed since 2020. Let me know if you are still playing or if you can share some tips. – Beast Out
