Square Enix has officially launched Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and the Xbox PC App, bringing one of the most beloved RPG reimaginings to a whole new generation of players.
With Xbox Play Anywhere and Xbox Cloud Gaming support, fans can now experience Midgar across devices, whether at home or on the go. This release also confirms Square Enix’s long-term commitment to bringing the entire Final Fantasy VII remake trilogy to Nintendo and Xbox platforms, with the third and final chapter currently in development.

First released in 2020 and winning multiple Game of the Year awards, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is a full-scale reimagining of the classic 1997 RPG. Built from the ground up, it delivers:

To welcome new players on Switch 2 and Xbox, Square Enix introduced an optional Streamlined Progression feature, now also available via patch on PS5 and PC.
This mode includes:
- Unlimited HP and MP
- Unlimited ATB and Limit gauge
- 9,999 damage output
- Faster weapon skill unlocks
It’s designed for players who want to focus on the narrative and combat flow without grinding or difficulty barriers.
Early Purchase Bonuses and Demo
Players who purchase digitally before January 31, 2026, will receive the original Final Fantasy VII at no extra cost.
Nintendo Switch 2 physical editions also include a Magic: The Gathering – Final Fantasy Play Booster, featuring 15 randomly assorted cards.
A free demo is available now on all platforms, with save data that carries into the full game.
