GTA VI Gameplay FINALLY!

Yes, we finally got to see a full gameplay experience of GTA VI, which was shown on both Netflix and YouTube, just 3 hours apart. There was no commentary from the devs, just showing 26 minutes of gameplay between Jason and Lucia. So far, gamers are fascinated by the graphics, given that it was shot on a regular PS5. It looks fantastic. Smart move, to be honest, as most people have the PS5 over the PS5 Pro. This beast, however, will be grabbing their copy on the Xbox Series system. Aight, let’s break it down.

No Commentary from the Devs, just Gameplay:

This is the new age of the Bonnie and Clyde storyline with Jason and Lucia at the helm. Now, what makes this different from GTA V? This is why seeing the extended gameplay was crucial to the decision of pre-ordering, because all GTA games have something special about them.

  1. Switching Remains: That feature was a good choice in GTA V which we had 3 characters to swap between. That is one feature that is needed, especially with two characters. But in addition to swapping, you can actually summon either character to help you out, unless it is a solo mission. Or just to chill with your partner and hang out. Text or call, and they will be on the way.
  2. In-car antics: So, what if you just want to cruise around, but you do not want to drive? No problem. You can switch seats on the fly lets the computer take over. This is especially good if you need the CPU to shoot enemies while you are on a chase or pursuit. This is not new, but I want to see some improvements to the A.I. when it comes to this. Personally, I do not mind driving, but doing both is kind of taxing. Hopefully the computer has great aim.
  3. Answer the Call! Real talk, they are giving you an immersive experience. Being a relationship between Lucia and Jason is going to need some TLC. You will get Text messages about either locking up the house or them going to bed. You ignoring those messages will shape how things go. All I am saying is, what if I am in a situation and I can’t respond? What then? That level of immersion is going to be something; just hope it is not as annoying as GTA IV.

Its going to be a huge experience indeed, which only means massive replay value. Time to brush up on your relationship skills by November.

Personal Take from BWAC:

Not going to hold you, Rockstar is known to give you a full open-world experience where you can do almost anything. Grand Theft Auto has come a long way since its first debut on the PSOne as a top-down crime game. Now look where we are, forming bonds, being criminals, and just living it up. I want to see what easter eggs are going to be invovled and, even though GTA V took place in the West Coast. You know there are going to be some tie-ins somehow. Also, there might be some DLC to look forward to.

Grand Theft Auto 6 has a November 19th release date and is dropping on Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5 consoles. Pre-orders are live right now, but I say put in the money towards the hundred-dollar edition. They should have never done the 80-dollar one if they were going to put a paywall up. That’s just my personal opinion, but let me know your thoughts. Are you going to be there day one? Comment below and stay tuned for more news updates. – Beast Out
