What’s up, gamers? Arc System Works’ latest fighter is almost upon us and so is the Beta coming in two weeks. Thank the gaming Gods they made it an open beta. Today PlayStation has released a new guide video for using Doctor Doom. He has been a fan favorite since Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 and glad to see how Arc System Works will utilize all the mystic and tech powers of Viktor! What has the will of DOOM have in store for us when the Open Beta drops on July 25th?

Doom is considered a hybrid fighter which blends in both long range zoning and aggressive rush down attacks. In this video I can see his nullify shield that defends attacks and brings in opponents. Can be done both air and ground with the right player that opponent will be in trouble. Utilizing dooms tech and mystic arts where his dash can go through your opponent and having free flight will have any fighter rethinking their approach. Diplomacy command grab lunges at the opponent where DOOM will have you in the air for a blade strike follow up.
The Merciful Strike move makes me wonder if you are juggling your opponent will it combo in? Being that it tracks your movements its pretty cool, it might look like a starter being how long it takes to strike. Keep in mind I am a noob when it comes to the mechanics of fighters. I am just openly thinking about his movesets and what to combo into.
Keep in mind I was talking while watching the video and at the end of the guide we get the see how everything works together even with his assembled team. Doom is going to be a chore and I am looking forward to learning the mechanics of him.
