007 First Light is just a few months from releasing and during the State of Play, gamers got a chance to check out the Story trailer! This is the true prequel to the start of James Bond at MI6 (Secret Intelligence Service), which gives him some incentives. Being that James is not yet a “00”, this is his journey in earning his number and a license to kill.
From Hitman to 007:
IoI Interactive is the best team to work on a James Bond game because of the creativity in the Hitman series. Agent 47 was the assassin, and it would be cool to see if they cross paths in the game as an Easter Egg. Or even better, thwarts a plan of 47 or prevents his own demise if 47 pursues him. That is asking a bit much, but a gamer can dream.
Pre-order bonus:
The bonus in pre-ordering is quite “golden”. First Light grants a free Deluxe Edition upgrade, including 24-hour early access (digital only), four exclusive outfits (Day of the Dead, Desert Explorer, Silent Anchor, Gentleman Operator), the Agent’s Mark weapon skin, and the Gleaming Pack of four gadget skins (Lighter, Earphones, Dart Gun, Pen). This bonus applies to most editions, with physical versions sometimes bundling the upgrade, while the Legacy Edition includes additional physical items, such as a Golden Gun replica.
Even crazier, there is a $299 Legendary Edition with a replica of a golden gun! That would be a treasured item for any collector.
